Darn Fine Day

Today's the first day in the past month and a half that I was able to "relax". And for someone who averages 4 hours of sleep each day, that's a miracle right there.

I was up until about 4 am finishing heaps of paper works and woke up well after 11 am. 7 hours! FINALLY! Hah.. Never thought I'd see the day. He-he. So then I got all my stuff ready and headed to school to get the acceptance notes signed and sealed. I left school around 8 pm and had dinner with my friend, Nikki and for the first time in such a while, I got home well before 11 pm. Such an achievement.

I got to watch American Idol. Yay!

But if there's anything about today that makes it so special, it was that brief meeting with my school director, (and now personal mentor) Sir Joel Santos. We were discussing the PBOX when he said he was "very impressed with your project plan, you seemed to have really put effort into it". I remember kept thinking "I so could die right now".

It takes very little to make me happy and today, I got quite a good dose of that. It means a lot that he's seen the hard work we've put into this but what makes it extra special is in knowing I truly deserved it.

Shout outs to Halmen, Coni, JP, Mike and the rest of my team for putting in the kind of efforts you all had. This little girl wouldn't be smiling this hard without your vision, dedication and cooperation. I can't be any happier to be working with all of you.

But oh, you all do realize this is but the beginning, right? I look forward to more sleepovers, eye bags (or eye luggages, as Halmen puts it) and midnight lasting brainstorming sessions.

Kaya naten to. (We can do this)
